'BRU's On The Plane' is a promotion to win prizes including a holiday to the Maldives, to the value of £15,000. 2. Am I eligible to enter?

You can enter if you are a resident of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland and aged 16 or over. 'BRU's On The Plane' is not open to: (i) employees of AG BARR or their immediate families; or (ii) anyone else professionally connected with 'BRU's On The Plane'. We may require any information that we consider reasonably necessary in order to verify your eligibility.

3. How old do I need to be to enter?

You need to be aged 16 or over.

4. How do I enter?

5. When should I enter?

'BRU's On The Plane' has 2 parts: the Main Promotion and the Late Entry Draw.

The Main promotion has two parts: Winning Moments and the Holiday Prize Draw. To take part the Main Promotion, you must enter between 21st May and 12th August 2018. For more information on the Main Promotion, see FAQ 6.

To take part in the Late Entry Draw, you must enter between the 12th August 2018 and 30th January 2020. For more information on the Late Entry Draw, see FAQ 7.

6. What is the Main Promotion and what prizes are available to be won if I enter?

The Main Promotion has two parts: Winning Moments and the Holiday Prize Draw. To take in the Main Promotion, you must enter between 21st May and 12th August 2018

Winning Moments

Prizes:
10,000 x pairs of flip flops

Winning Moments involves winners being selected in every 12.0958 minute slot during the Main Promotion. Winning Moments is a secure, independently verified computer program which allocates a winning time to each prize. The winning entry is the first entry received on or after the winning moment. You'll know if you're a winner because you'll receive an on-screen message. You'll then be prompted to enter your preferred flip-flop size, postal address and telephone number. We'll confirm we've received this information by email within 72 hours.

The Holiday Prize Draw
Prize: 1 x £15,000 holiday to the Maldives

The Holiday Prize Draw is a prize draw which will be conducted by an independent 3rd party on 13th August 2018. You will be automatically entered into the Holiday Prize Draw if you enter the Main Promotion, whether you win or lose in Winning Moments.

If you win the Holiday Prize Draw, we'll notify you by phone or email within 7 working days of it being held. The winner must acknowledge acceptance of the prize and its terms and conditions within 14 days of when we first make contact, otherwise the prize will be forfeited and allocated to an additional winner.

7. What is the Late Entry Draw and what prizes are available to be won if I enter?

Prize: 1 x £500 travel voucher

The Late Entry Draw is a prize draw which will be conducted by an independent 3rd party on 31st January 2020. If you submit a valid entry between 12th August 2018 and 30th January 2020, you will be entered into the Late Entry Draw. You'll know if you've been entered into the Late Entry Draw because you'll receive an on-screen message at the time you enter.

If you win the Late Entry Draw, we'll notify you by email within 14 working days of it being held. Our email will contain a link to a secure page. You must click the link and enter your postal address and telephone number where indicated within 28 days of the date of our email.

8. How will I know if I've won a prize?

If you win a prize in Winning Moments, you'll immediately receive an on-screen message telling you which prize you've won.

If you win the Holiday Prize Draw, we'll notify you by phone within 7 working days of it being held. If you win a prize in the Late Entry Draw, we'll notify you by email within 14 working days of it being held.

9. When will I receive my prize?

It depends on which prize you win:

Holiday Prize and Late Entry prize: If you win these prizes you will be contacted by our travel agent partners within 7 days of confirming you accept the prize. The holiday must be taken within 1 year.

Flip flops: You will receive these within 28 days.

10. What is included as part of the Holiday Prize?

The prize fund may be used to pay for a holiday in the Maldives for two people. This will/can include flights, airport transfers, accommodation, holiday attraction tickets, airport lounge bookings, travel insurance, baggage charges, car parking and car hire bookings. It may also be used as spending money up to a maximum of £2,000.

11. Why do I need to provide personal information?

You need to provide your email address and phone number when you enter, so that we can contact you if you win! You also need to provide your postal address if you win because we need to know where to post your prize to. We may need to contact you f we need to discuss delivery of your prize.

Please note you must ensure that the contact details you provide are up-to-date for the duration of 'BRU's On The Plane'. If you change your contact details after entering and we are unable to contact you having made reasonable efforts to do so, your entry will be invalid.

12. What should I do if I receive an error message when I enter my code?

The first thing to do is to check you entered the code correctly. Codes are case sensitive so make sure you enter it exactly as it appears on your bottle.

Each code is unique so you can only enter it once.

If you are sure you have entered the code correctly but still receive an error message, email: bruplane@irn-bru.co.uk. We will aim to respond to your query within 2 working days.

13. What should I do if I can't find my code or my bottle doesn't have a code?

Your code should be printed on the reverse of the bottle label. It is an 8 digit code of both letters and numbers. If you are unable to find your code, please email: bruplane@irn-bru.co.uk and provide us with your full name, postal address and email address (if different to the one used to contact us). We will aim to respond to your query within 2 working days. We may ask you to send your bottle/can to us (via a freepost address) so please ensure you contact us as soon as possible.

14. How many times can I enter my code?

You must only enter your code once. Repeatedly trying to enter the same code or using codes not intended for use in 'BRU's On The Plane' may result in disqualification and any prizes you have won will be forfeited.

15. What should I do if I enter my code incorrectly?

Try to enter it again! Please see FAQ 13 if you are having difficulty entering your code.

16. How are winners selected?

All prizes are awarded on a random basis:

17. What do I do if my flip flops arrive faulty?

Please email bruplane@irn-bru.co.uk. We will reply and ask you to post your flip flops to a freepost address. If we agree that you are eligible to receive a replacement, we will post these out within 28 days of receiving your faulty goods.

18. What do I do if my flip flops don't arrive within 28 days of me providing my postal address?

There have been delays to some of our deliveries due to extreme weather close to our supplier's factory. This has now been resolved and all delayed flip flops are on their way.

If your flip flops don't arrive in 28 days please email bruplane@irn-bru.co.uk - we may require your name, email address, postal address and your email stating that you have won, in order to trace your prize.

19. I requested small/medium flip flops and received a different size. What happened?

We will try to allocate winners their preferred size. This may not always be possible.

20. What will you do with the personal information I provide?

BRU'S ON THE PLANE PROMOTION - CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Please read these conditions of entry carefully. By submitting an entry to this promotion, you are deemed to have read and accepted them.

2. The Promoter is A.G. BARR p.l.c. (Company No. SC005653) of Westfield House, 4 Mollins Road, Cumbernauld G68 9HD (we, our, us).

3. Who can enter: This promotion is open to legal residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland who are aged 16 or over at the time of entry, excluding our employees, their immediate family & any other person professionally associated with this promotion. All entrants must have internet access. We may require any information that we consider reasonably necessary in order to verify your eligibility.

4. How to enter: To enter, all you need to do is:

(i) Purchase one of the following IRN-BRU 'BRU's On The Plane' promotional packs in either "Regular", "Sugar Free" or "Xtra":

(ii) Find the unique 8 digit entry code printed on the reverse of the bottle label
(iii) Visit www.bru-plane.co.uk to enter your unique code, name, e-mail address and phone number where indicated. Please ensure that you enter the correct details, otherwise your entry will be invalid.
Republic of Ireland residents may enter using the no-purchase necessary route explained in condition 7.

5. Promotion: This promotion has two parts, the Main Promotion and the Late Entry Draw.

The Main Promotion

The Main promotion has two parts: Winning Moments and the Holiday Prize Draw. To take part in the Main Promotion, you must enter between 00:01 on 21st May 2018 and 23:59 on 12th August 2018 (the Closing Date). Each eligible entry provides you with one entry into Winning Moments and the Holiday Prize Draw.

Winning Moments

The following prizes are available to be won over the Main Promotion promotional period:

•  10,000 pairs of flip flops

Winning Moments prize winners will be selected using a secure, independently verified computer program which allocates a random winning time to each prize in every 12.0958 minute slot during the Main Promotion. The winning entry is the first entry received on or after the winning moment. If there are no entries within that winning moment and the next, then the prize rolls over to the next ensuing entry.

You'll know if you're a winner because you'll receive a clear on-screen message telling you that you are. You'll then be prompted to enter your correct postal address which you must do immediately. We'll send you an email confirming that you've won within 72 hours.

If for any reason you receive a winning on-screen message but it does not stay on screen long enough for you to enter your details, you are deemed to not to have won. The Promoter and agencies running this promotion will not be held responsible for any technical issues, erroneous on-screen messages, or user errors.

Whether you do or don't win a prize, you will be entered into the Holiday Prize Draw.

Holiday Prize Draw

We will hold the Holiday Prize Draw on 13th August 2018. The prize available in the Holiday Prize Draw is the Holiday Prize.

The Holiday Prize Draw will be conducted for us by an independent 3rd party. If you win, we'll notify you using the contact details you have provided within 7 days of the closing date. You must confirm you accept the prize within 14 days of our first attempt to contact you or you will forfeit your right to the prize. If you forfeit your right to the prize, we may choose to draw an alternative winner.

The Late Entry Draw

If you're too late to enter the Main Promotion, don't worry! We'll hold a Late Entry Draw on 30th January 2020 for any valid online entries received between 00:01 on 13th August 2018 and 23:59 on 30th January 2020. You'll know if you've been entered into the Late Entry Draw because you'll receive an on-screen message at the time you enter.

The prize available for the Late Entry Draw is 1 x £500 travel voucher, to be used with our selected travel agency.

6. The Late Entry Draw will be conducted for us by an independent 3rd party. If you win, we'll notify you by e-mail within 14 days of the closing date. You must confirm acceptance of the prize within 14 days of our first attempt to contact you or you will forfeit your right to the prize. If you forfeit your right to the prize, we may choose to draw an alternative winner.

Prize Details: 

The Holiday Prize – 1 winner will win the Holiday Prize, with a budget of £15,000 to spend on a holiday to the Maldives.

The Holiday Prize is a set prize for up to two travellers to the Maldives, subject to the following conditions:

• The £15,000 prize fund may be used to pay for flights, airport transfers, accommodation, holiday attraction tickets, airport lounge bookings, travel insurance, baggage charges, car parking and car hire bookings. It may also be used as spending money (including foreign currency) up to a maximum of £2,000. The holiday must be booked in consultation with and through our selected travel agency. Winners may not book their own holiday.
• The winner will share their Holiday Prize with another person. However we may consider making exceptions to this rule at our discretion if the winner either wishes to travel alone or with more than one person. At least one passenger must be aged 18 or over. Winners aged 16 or 17 must book their holiday with our selected travel agent through a person aged 18 or over, though that person does not need to travel.
• The winner and any accompanying travellers are responsible for ensuring they have taken out travel insurance for the holiday (with a reputable insurer), a valid passport, relevant visa/immigration permissions and in-date vaccinations to visit the Maldives. If winners or any of their accompanying travellers are refused entry to the Maldives no re-bookings or re-imbursements will be made. Our selected travel agent will require a copy of the winner and any accompanying travellers' travel insurance policy and immunisation documents where applicable prior to booking the holiday. Each winner will also be responsible for taking their own health and travel advice in relation to travel to the Maldives.
• The departure airport must be within the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland.
• Winners may choose to increase their budget by contributing their own money towards their booking. However, if winners do not use up the whole budget, we will not reimburse the difference. Winners will be responsible for any other incidental expenditure or holiday costs that are not expressly included within their booking with our selected travel agent.
• A valid credit or debit card may be required for security deposit purposes when checking into the holiday accommodation.
• Holiday Prize must be booked and redeemed with our selected travel agent within 12 months of our confirmation phone call and e-mail to the Holiday Prize winner.
• Our selected travel agents standard booking terms and conditions will apply to the Holiday Prize booking and travel voucher.

The Travel Voucher: The terms and conditions outlined above for the Holiday Prize also apply to the Travel Voucher and must be followed by the Travel Voucher prize winner (and any accompanying travellers), subject to the difference that

• Travel Voucher can only be used to spend up to £500 with our selected travel agent, and that the travel must be completed within 12 months of our confirmation e-mail.
• The holiday destination is the winner's choice.

Flip flops: The Flip flop winners will receive their prize within 28 days of receiving our winner confirmation e-mail. Winners will be asked to confirm their preferred flip flop size. We will try to provide winners with the preferred size, but we can't guarantee we will be able to do so. The prize will be delivered through the Royal Mail's postal service. If the prize cannot be delivered, winners will be responsible for picking it up from Royal Mail, as instructed on Royal Mail's delivery note.

7. No purchase necessary – Republic of Ireland residents only: Republic of Ireland residents may enter the promotion without purchase by sending their name, address (including postcode), date of birth, daytime telephone number and email address, on a postcard to: "'BRU's On The Plane' Competition, IRN-BRU Marketing Team, Westfield House, 4 Mollins Road, Cumbernauld, G68 9HD". Only one entry per person. Only one entry per postal address will be accepted. Only one entry per postcard. For the Main Promotion, postcards must be received by 12th August 2018 and must be correctly stamped. After we have received your postcard we will send you by email one promotional code for you to use to enter the promotion as described in condition 4. For the Late Entry Draw, postcard entries must be received between 13th August 2018 and 30th January 2020. After we have received your postcard we will enter you into the draw that will take place on 31st January 2020.

8. You must not sell, auction or otherwise transfer your code. You must submit your own entry and must not use any software or other method to submit multiple entries. Unless you enter the promotion through the Republic of Ireland no-purchase necessary route (in accordance with condition 7), you can enter this promotion as many times as you like (provided you purchase a promotional product and enter your unique code each time).

9. Please keep winning products and your receipt because we may need to check them for verification purposes.

10. There is no cash or other alternative to any of the prizes. . We reserve the right to substitute any of the prizes (including any particular aspects of the Holiday Prize) for an alternative prize of equal or greater value where we deem this absolutely necessary or in response to events outside our reasonable control. The winner may not transfer the right to take up any of the prizes to anyone else without our consent.

11.We may, at our sole discretion, opt to re-award your prize to a reserve winner selected on the same basis as you in any of the following circumstances:
• if you win any "Winning Moments" prize and do not provide us with your postal address, as required in condition 5;
• if you win the Holiday Prize and do not confirm acceptance of the Holiday Prize within 14 days of our first contact confirming that you have won the Holiday Prize;
• if you win the Late Entry Draw prize and you don't confirm acceptance of the Travel Voucher prize within 14 days of our first contact confirming you have won the Travel Voucher, as required in condition 5;
•  if you fail our verification or eligibility check, or are disqualified under condition 12;
• if you win any prize and you are unable to accept it for any reason.

12.We reserve the right to disqualify you if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have:
• breached any of these conditions; or
• otherwise cheated or jeopardised the integrity of this promotion.

13. We reserve the right to suspend, vary or cancel this promotion and/or vary these conditions without notice where we deem it absolutely necessary or in response to events outside our reasonable control. In these circumstances, we will do all we can to minimise any disappointment caused.

14. Our decision is final on all matters related to this promotion and we will enter into correspondence with consumers as deemed necessary.

15. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for:

your failure to enter due to problems with your internet connection;
the unavailability of www.bru-plane.co.uk for any period of time; or any loss or injury suffered by the winner or any accompanying guest in connection with their uptake any of the Holiday Prize or the Holiday voucher (including without limitation, any loss or injury suffered due to activities involving high levels of risk e.g. extreme sports).

16. We are running this promotion in conjunction with our marketing agency, The Leith Agency, our selected travel agency and our selected prize fulfilment agency. We will share the personal information we collect from you with them to the extent necessary to allow them to help administer this promotion. That's the only way we'll use your information. We won't use your information for any other purpose. All entrants' personal data will be processed securely and in accordance with the IRN-BRU website privacy policy, available at http://www.irn-bru.co.uk/stuff/privacy. We will keep entrants' personal data for the following periods:

Main Promotion entrants: Data will be stored for six months from the closing date of the Main Promotion; and Late Entry Draw entrants: Data will be stored for six months from the closing date of the Late Entry Draw.

18. To obtain the full name and county of the winner of the Holiday Prize Draw or the Late Entry Draw, send a self-addressed envelope clearly marked "FAO IRN-BRU Brand Manager" with details of your request to: "A.G. 19. If you buy a product and the code is illegible or you can't find your code, please email us at bruplane@irn-bru.co.uk with your name, postal address and email address (if different from the one used to contact us). We may also ask you to send your product to a freepost address for us to check, so please ensure you contact us as soon as possible if you have any issues with your code.

20. These conditions of entry will be interpreted and applied on the basis of Scottish law and the Scottish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute.
